an interior affair: a state of becoming

I chaired a working party for the Interior Design/Interior Architecture Educators Association (IDEA), to think through an exhibition model that would enable the evaluation and recognition of research in and through the medium of creative works.
The outcomes were the Inaugural IDEA exhibition (2012), a catalogue and a publication outlining the research/model of the exhibition.
I co-curated/managed the exhibition with Jane Lawrence, Sven Mehzoud and Stuart Foster.
The exhibition proved that the physical experience of creative works [artefacts / installations] and the coming together of researchers and viewers adds an important dimension to research, its formats, their communication and exchange of ideas.
