Permeable Boundaries: Interiors - a Field of Possibilities was an exhibition, and public event that I conceived, curated and project managed with my colleauge Dr. Dianne Smith.
The exhibition represented the field of interior architecture and the points within a 20-year history. The research questions driving the curatorial theme were: What is the nature of interior architecture, and what is the significance of a Curtin IA degree in the professional life of graduates?
The opening event brought the industry, profession, educators and students together to challenge preconceptions, and to choreograph a number of significant aspects of Interior Architecture.
The project received a Pro Vice Chancellor’s award for Excellence
Those staff who did not make it to the John Curtin Gallery last Thursday night really missed a great occasion. I thought it was one of the best such events at Curtin for a
long time, in our best tradition...
