The original watercolour part of series of flower portraits of endemic wildflowers from SW Western Australia and the northern boreal forests of Manitoba, Canada. Both are bio-diversity hotspots and are significant in terms of their wildflowers. The Eastern Queen of Sheba is a sun orchid endemic to SW Western Australia. It is not threatened; however, it holds a special place in the hearts of many Western Australian who remember it with delight from their childhood bush walks in the late winter and spring.
